    I'd rather a lobotomy. This is beyond awful. This book is disgustingly schmaltzy. The lead characters are immature & naive. They get to know each other apparently at the pub but the author doesn't show that. Amberlynn is obnoxious. She's like a child, always pouting, blushing & giggling. Her behavior is that of a young teenager. And since there's ZERO steam in this book it's more suited for high schoolers. The amount of cliche, uninspired tropes were annoying & predictable. 😡 If you're looking for actual romance keep looking.

    New author for me and I chose this book for the reviews. I would have to say this is a book for mature teenagers / young adults due to language and story line. It didn’t interest me enough to continue on to the next book with the same characters.

    What an amazing book. I can't wait for the second one. Anyone who is thinking about reading it, it is a great choice. You can't help but fall in love with her characters. Declan and Amberlyn are going on my list of repeat novels to read. Thank you Toni for writing such an amazing love story!
  • Not what I expected

    I was thrilled to see a new book from one of my favorite authors but I had no expectations for this book all I knew was there was no hockey :( Very much to my surprise this book found me entertained I love the initial love lost, loved found and the ending caught me so off guard that I am still in shock!! This Irish girl thinks its a great read!!
