    I was recommended this book by a podcast I follow, juicy scoop if you're interested, and Man did in NOT disappoint!! Grew up listening to The Mamas and the Papas with my parents so I was already a little intrigued. Great and humbling read.

    My morbid sense of curiosity made me read this book. It was interesting as far as historical facts for the timeline of MP's life (I am the same age). A little weird, but drug addiction isn't exactly normal then, is it? A negative comment I have is that in the acknowledgments, MP does not mention Rosie, Nancy, Patty or Dini. Is there some reason for that? I can't believe they were left out as Rosie was MP's caregiver for such a very long time. And Nancy and Patty were a big part of the 'story'. And Dini is MP's Grandmother for God's sake. A 'shame on you' is required.

    This book is definitely a page turner. I read it in 1 day. The way that Mackenzie can stay positive through everything she has lived through is truly inspiring... This book is shocking in its revelations, and one can't help but be completely heart broken for Mack. I'm glad she got her life together in the end and I hope she never relapses again.

    Never really followed any of the people in this book actors or musically, although I know who they are. What inspired me to read this I will never know but it was wonderful. Im not any of the things in this book, but I was compelled to relate to the sheer humanity, the struggle and desire to come clean on all levels. I don't feel like I was a voyer into another celebrity's private self, but walked a way with a respect for struggle and her ability to never stop loving . Lesson learned.

    A little disappointing . I wish she had focused more on the dynamics between her and her dad , rather than the awful drug abuse . Sadly there are many books written on drug abuse .

    Wow! This book surpassed my expectations! Raw, honest and just enough detail. I think Mackenzie should be commended for her bravery and honesty. I believe this purge was essential to her recovery, and I'm routing for her !!
